Revised Submission and Notification Dates for ISAW4:
  February 25, 2000: Submission of position paper
  March    24, 2000: Notification to Authors

In accordance with the other workshops being held in conjuction with with
ICSE 2000,
the deadlines for submission of position papers for ISAW4 and notification of
acceptance to authors have been extended to the above dates.

We hope these extensions will provide additional time to prepare position
papers and elicit broader participation.

                        REVISED CALL FOR Contributions 
              Fourth International Software Architecture Workshop 
                                 (ISAW-4) 
                     4 and 5 June 2000, Limerick Ireland
                       In Conjunction with ICSE 2000
                             

The fourth International Software Architecture Workshop (ISAW-4)
brings together practitioners and researchers for two intense days of
discussion and work in the emerging area of Software Architecture. The
workshop builds on the success of the first three workshops in the
series (ISAW-1,2,3) and will be held in conjunction with ICSE 2000,
immediately prior to the conference.

Workshop participants will be organised into parallel working groups
focused on different topics within software architecture. Attendance
is limited to 40 and is by invitation on the basis of position papers
of between three and five pages. Position papers will be evaluated for
their reasoned presentation of a point of view pertinent to the
workshop theme.

   Generic Architectures 
   The Art and Science of Software

Submission Procedure: 
   Send submissions electronically (pdf preferred) to either of 
   the Co-Chairs listed below:

   Submissions must not exceed five (5) pages of single-column text,
   using a minimum of 11pt font at 1.5 spacing. Submissions must not have
   been published nor be concurrently submitted for publication
   elsewhere.

   Submissions must be accompanied by a cover sheet giving the title,
   abstract, topic area covered, and address information for one contact
   author, including surface mail address, email address, and telephone
   number. A copy of the cover sheet in plain text should be sent by
   email to either Co-Chair.
