The main InfiniTe screen provides access to the following repository services: import, context management, file management, integrators, and export.  A description of these services is provided below.  Information on running specific translators and integrators is also available.

General Navigation

The initial screen provides access to all repository services.  You can return to this screen at any time by clicking on the repository services link.

Context Management

Context management is used to create contexts as well as to add files to and remove files from a contexts.

Creating a context

  1. Click on the Context Management button.
  2. Click on Create SubContext.
  3. Enter the name of the new context and click on Create.

Navigating within the context hierarchy

  1. To view the contents of a subcontext, click on the name of that context in the subcontext table.
  2. To return to the parent context, click on the parent context's name at the top of the screen.

Adding files to a context

  1. Click on the Context Management button.
  2. Navigate to the context to which you want to add files.
  3. Click on Add Files.
  4. Select the file(s) you want to add and click Add.

Removing files from a context

Removing files from a context does not remove them from the repository.

  1. Click on the Context Management button.
  2. Navigate to the context from which you want to remove files.
  3. Click on Remove Files.
  4. Select the file(s) you want to remore and click Remove.

File Management

File Management allows you to delete files from the repository.  Files are added to the repository by invoking an Importer.

Deleting a file from the repository

  1. Click on the File Management button.
  2. Select the file(s) you want to delete.
  3. Click on Delete Selected File(s).

Editing File Attributes

This feature has not been implemented.

Import, Integrators, and Export

These services allow you to invoke specific translators and integrators.  Information about running specific translators and integrators  is also available.

Invoking a translator or integrator

  1. Click on the appropriate button (Import, Integrators, or Export).
  2. Select the translator or integrator you want to run and click Select.
  3. Enter the parameters and click Run.
